Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for Edisto Beach, SC

The town of Edisto Beach is located on the portion of Edisto Island that is in Colleton County, along the South Edisto River. It is one of the most affluent communities in South Carolina and prides itself in family oriented atmosphere and gently developed beaches. There are many opportunities on the island to relax at the beach or go visit a park. The area is also home to the Edisto Beach State Park which has many campsites along the water as well as an education center and ranger station. The island also has a few restaurants that specialize in seafood.
