Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for Cedar Island Point, South Santee River, SC

Cedar Island is an island in the Santee River just at the mouth of the river before it empties into the Atlantic. It is bordered by the North Santee River to its north and the South Santee River to its south. It is located in Georgetown County and is part of the Santee Coastal Reserve, just south of the Tom Yawkee Wildlife Center region. Cedar Island as well as the other barrier island that are part of the Santee Coastal Reserve both have multiple marked trails that can be walked or biked.
