Boating, Fishing, and Travel Information for North Dewees Island, Capers Inlet, SC

North Dewees Island is located on the northern tip of Dewees Island along Capers Inlet. The inlet leads from the Atlantic Ocean into Tomer Creek and Bullyard Sound. The island is home to a small community of residents who travel by gold cart as gas-powered vehicles are prohibited. It only receives about 2,000 tourists each year and can be accessed by a ferry running between the Isle of Palms and Dewees Island.
